We are blessed in Cheshire with several old hall buildings that are available for weddings. Whether you are looking for a place for your reception, a place to stay for your wedding night or a place to have everything wedding all under one roof then here is the place for that. Here are our top five reasons why you should book your wedding at Shrigley Hall.

Privacy. A Shrigley Hall wedding can be all-encompassing. You can have your service, your reception and your overnight stay all in one place. This avoids the annoyance of traffic jams moving between a church and your reception venue. Parking is plentiful which can’t always be said for churches and other venues! The grounds of Shrigley Hall are beautiful and you travel away from the busyness of life down a driveway passing the golf course to begin your weekend escape.
History. The building and grounds provide a stunning backdrop for your wedding. It was built in 1825 and has stood the test of time as a stunning piece of architecture. The grounds include the golf course, a wooded area, and a lake so providing ample photography opportunities and places to have a little time to yourself on the day.

Flexibility. The sheer number of rooms at Shrigley Hall make planning a wedding very easy. It can cater for small weddings right through to large ones thanks to the sizes of the different rooms available throughout the hall. We have photographed a service for fewer than 30 people right through to a reception for nearly 200 people. Shrigley Hall are only too happy to provide a golf cart to help transport those less able to walk from the lower to the upper part of the hall (there are a fair few steps so this can be a real help on the day!) or use it to transport you away to specific photography locations.

Golf and Spa. Why not make a weekend of your wedding or go back for your anniversary. There are many wedding venues where return visits can be nice but ultimately there is nothing to do there. A Shrigley Hall wedding is not like that. On your wedding weekend, why not have a round of golf or a spa with your friends and family. Head back every year and stay for an evening, dine in the restaurant, have a round, have a massage and enjoy being back at the place of the happiest day of your life (until the kids come along, of course.
