Daffodils, fluffy clouds in blue skies, this was the perfect spring wedding for Hollie and Richard…and a lovely way to start our  2018 wedding season!!

When I arrived at Hollie’s in the morning, she greeted me with a jubilant “I’m getting married today!!” Her joy was echoed in pops of yellow and purple in the bouquets, button holes, and bridal party dresses.

Meanwhile, Andy was down at Richard’s family farm where the groomsmen were already dressed and chilling out.

After a beautiful ceremony at Rushton Spencer Church, we had everyone gazing skyward as Andy flew the drone overhead for an ariel shot. Then my favourite type of confetti action…real dried flower petals… swoon!

Then it was onto Congleton Town Hall for the reception, where it was all fairy lights, cupcakes, bubbles, and the most spectacular cake courtesy of Hollie’s talented friend Caroline. I was a bit nervous photographing it, however, as she had threatened that a team of ninjas would take me out if I got too close!

Once “The Cake” had been cut, the evening erupted in a Ceilidh.

We had a really enjoyable day! Congratulations, Hollie and Richard!
