As with a couple of weddings in 2017 we woke up to threatening rain clouds but promises of some sunny periods. Days like this are always going to be fun in trying to catch the dry times for the pictures but embracing the rain if it comes!
This entire wedding took place at The Swettenham Arms in Cheshire. A lovely pub and venue with an amazing lavender garden to walk around.
Gabby went to Faye’s family house to capture the getting ready shots and I went to meet Kris at his house where the boys were in full, banterous flow.
Once at the venue all was going well until the registrar announced that Faye was a little delayed. I guess the normal reaction to this is accepting as its a wedding and the bride can be late if she wants to be. But no, not this congregation. Almost to a man they all got up and started heading to the bar! The registrar shot me a look of panic and had to ask them all to sit back down as Faye wasn’t that far away!
It was a brilliant moment from a fun filled wedding full of good humour, lovely people and some questionable dancing.
We had a great time throughout the day and even managed to get some dry photos 🙂
